Business Development | Role and Responsibilities

About:

As a Business Development Intern at Intressent, you will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, supporting partnership outreach, and helping to expand the firm’s client base. You’ll work closely with leadership to build relationships, research markets, and contribute to strategic go-to-market initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify new business opportunities
     
  • Build and maintain lists of qualified leads and potential partners
     
  • Assist in preparing outreach emails, introductory decks, and marketing collateral
     
  • Support proposal writing and responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposals)
     
  • Track business development activity and help manage the opportunity pipeline
     
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with prospects and partners
     
  • Maintain and update records in CRM and business development tracking tools
     
  • Attend internal strategy sessions and contribute ideas for market entry or service expansion
     
  • Analyze outreach performance data and provide insights to improve results
     

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
     
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
     
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Excel, and business communication tools
     
  • Interest in consulting, strategy, or corporate development
     
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter, and highly organized
     
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a dynamic environment
