Market Research | Role and Responsibilities

About:

As a Market Research Intern at Intressent, you will help drive strategic decision-making by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing insights on industries, competitors, clients, and emerging trends. Your work will support business development, marketing, and service delivery teams as they identify new opportunities and refine go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining and organizing data in the company’s CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
     
  • Monitor and update sales dashboards, tracking KPIs and pipeline activity
     
  • Support the creation and refinement of sales reports and performance analyses
     
  • Help optimize internal sales processes and documentation (e.g., playbooks, templates)
     
  • Identify and correct data inconsistencies or gaps in CRM records
     
  • Coordinate with marketing and business development teams to ensure alignment of lead tracking and follow-up
     
  • Assist with territory or account mapping and prospect segmentation
     
  • Contribute to automation efforts (e.g., email sequences, task reminders, CRM workflows)
     
  • Participate in team meetings and assist with project management of key sales initiatives

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
     
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and basic data manipulation
     
  • Experience or interest in using CRM systems
     
  • Effective communicator with good organizational skills
     
  • Curious, process-oriented, and eager to learn how sales functions operate
     
  • Prior experience with dashboards, reporting, or analytics tools is a plus
